The Giving Tree - Attention Victory Families!
This year, Victory is continuing the honored tradition of giving to our families in need. You can be a part of this wonderful opportunity to make the holidays a little brighter for a few of our students. The process is simple:
1. Visit our Giving Tree located outside Victory's front office and select a snowflake or snowman. OR 2. Send in a note giving your child permission to select an ornament. 3. Purchase a new gift. 4. Attach the Giving Tree snowflake or snowman to the gift. 5. Bring the UNWRAPPED gift to Victory's front office no later than Friday, December 9th.
Students will not be allowed to remove an ornament without permission from their parent or guardian.
Questions? Call counselor Laura Bell at 703-257-0356.
We thank you for your kindness and generosity!
Heritage Week & Potluck Dinner - The week of December 12th through December 16th is Heritage Week. To celebrate our variety of family traditions, the ESOL team are inviting family members to visit classrooms to share about their heritage. This could be in the form of a presentation, sharing a book, song, or even doing a special activity.
If you would like to participate, please complete and return the bottom portion of this Heritage Week formto your student's teacher.
Additionally, on Wednesday, December 14th from 6:00-7:30pm, Victory will be hosting a Heritage Week Potluck Dinner. We are inviting all families to come participate in this celebration of family traditions. If you will be joining us, we ask that you bring a family favorite dish.
We are hoping to have activity stations as well as food. If you are interested in leading an activity, please share your idea below along with any materials you may need. Some ideas are crafts, games and dances.
